Sweasy traveled to Europe in 1964 and witnessed a hiking craze sweeping the continent – he returned home to Red Wing, Minnesota, determined to create purpose-built trail boots to mobilize Americans outdoors. We've been delivering footwear built for the outdoors since 1964, and our commitment to doing so has never been stronger. As we look back on the first sixty years and into the next sixty, we take pride in how Vasque has evolved our footwear alongside the ways we all go outside.
